“apricot princess” by rex orange county review

The 10 track album “Apricot Princess” by Rex Orange County ranges in many sounds such as jazz, neo soul, and indie-pop. The first track and also title track “Apricot Princess” starts off with beautiful strings and is one of my favorites of the album. Another masterpiece on the album is the song “4 Seasons” which always gets me in my feels. It’s full of emotion and the sound is beautiful. This album ends off with the song “Happiness”, contradicting itself because one of the lyrics is “But will you still love me, when nobody wants me around?”, which in my opinion, is a little sad because it implies that this person might not love them later on.

Overall, this album will forever be one of my favorite albums ever to exist because of the emotion and musical versatility.
